Rites, Rituals, and Offerings

The terminology here for rites, rituals, and offerings varies, but we will try to stay more consistent in these entries. When I call something a rite, think larger, grander scale practices likely made up of smaller sub-parts. When I say ritual, think individual, repeated simple acts that can be part of a greater rite or self-contained. For offerings, well, think of something less formal and more practical. Daily practice, less ceremonious and rigid. It’s a loose distinction but I like categories. They’re arbitrary and mileage may vary, especially in modern paganism. Enjoy!
